Family Support Group

Purpose: A long-term maintenance group for consumers of mental health services and/or their supports to sustain the recovery efforts of consumers.

Duration: Long term-open ended group with rolling enrollment.

Components: Flexible agenda that follows Dr. William McFarlane’s model for Multifamily Groups including: socializing, go-around, and problem identification/solving and ending with socialization.
